Iran’s aluminum ingot output in the first eleven months (Mar 20, 2020-Feb 18, 2021) of the Iranian calendar stood at 404,950mt, up by 63pc as compared to 247,966mt produced in the prior-year period, according to data released by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro).
The country’s aluminum ingot production exceeded 400,000mt for the first time in the Mar-Feb period.
Of the total aluminum ingot output, the Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALC) produced 170,422mt and Al Mahdi Aluminum Complex produced 147,855mt in the 11-month period.
In the Mar-Feb period, Iran Alumina’s output stood at 22,836mt, while South Aluminum Corporation (SALCO) produced 63,837mt of aluminum ingots.

The company’s bauxite output stood at 769,263, up by 2pc from 752,150mt produced in the prior-year period.
