Iran’s copper concentrate and copper anode production witnessed an increase of 1pc and 10pc to 599,624mt and 179,536mt, respectively, in first six months (H1) of the Iranian year (which began on March 20), stated media reports.

 

Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex accounted for the largest share in copper anode and concentrate output with 117,094mt and 352,515mt, respectively. 

 

Khatoonbad Copper Cathode Production Plant was the second largest producer of copper anode in H1 with an output of 62,442mt. 

 

Sungun Complex set a monthly record production with 27,377t of copper concentrate output.

 

Iran looks to produce 1.427mn t of copper concentrate by the end of the current Iranian year.
