Italian truck manufacturer Iveco plans to increase its production by 17pc at its Madrid facility to about 138 units per day from June.
According to media reports, the company will hire close to 350 employees in order to match the increased production capacity. The company had halted its production last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restarted in May with 112 vehicles per day.
From February this year, Iveco has increased its production to 118 units on a daily basis.
