Davis Index: Market Intelligence for the Global Metals and Recycled Materials Markets

The International Zinc Association (IZA) has elected Marie Inkster as its new chairperson, replacing Rodrigo Daud.

 

Inkster has been with Lundin Mining since September 2009 and currently serves as the president and chief executive officer at the company. She also a director of the Lucara Diamond Corp. Previously, Inkster has worked with LionOre Mining as well as Russian mining conglomerate, Norilsk Nickel. 

 

Inkster said that the IZA plays an important role in global zinc demand and she hopes to work on sustainable development and human health.

 

Lundin Mining is a copper-zinc miner based in Toronto, Canada, operating mines North and South America, along with Europe.
