Davis Index: Market Intelligence for the Global Metals and Recycled Materials Markets

India-based Jindal Steel plans to set up a 2.25mn mt capacity integrated steel plant in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, according to media reports. The plant will be built in the next four years.

 

Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy headed a State Investment Promotion Board (SPIB) meeting on June 29 to approve the steel plant. SPIB will be allocating 860 acres of land in Tamminapatna, SPS Nellore district.
