China-based recycler Jinli is planning to expand its secondary aluminium recycling project’s annual capacity to 150,000mt to improve the company’s competitiveness.
The expansion project will be carried out using existing plant buildings and by adding some machinery and equipment. The total investment for the project is CNY205mn ($31.63mn), including CNY7.2mn for civil construction, CNY32mn for equipment and CNY158.8mn for initial working capital, and CNY7mn for other projects. When the project is fully operational, an annual output of 150,000mt of secondary aluminium will be added to form an annual output of 200,000mt, stated a company release.
Jinli produces aluminium alloy ingots and aluminium precision castings. Its products are used in the automobile industry, casting industry, mobile communication industry, electronic and electrical industry and motorcycle accessories industry.
