Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) sales in the first three quarters of FY20 (ended December 31, 2020) was down by 20.7pc to 316,105 units compared to the same period last year.
Sub-brand Jaguar saw a 33.9pc fall in its sales in April-December to 74,206 units against the same period in FY2019. Land Rover also witnessed a 15.5pc drop in sales to 241,899 units over April-December of FY2019.

In third quarter of FY2020, the company’s sales declined by 9pc to 128,469 units. In Q3, Jaguar witnessed a 20.8pc decrease in sales to 28,072 units from the same period last year. During the same period, Land Rover sales fell by 5.1pc to 100,397 units
JLR said that sales in China bolstered performance in Q3. Sales in the region rose by 19.1pc from the same quarter in 2019. Compared with the preceding quarter, retail sales in North America increased by 31.7pc while Europe saw a 20.5pc rise and other countries recorded a 26.6pc hike in sales in the third quarter of FY2020. Notably, sales in all regions except China are still to reach 2019 levels.
