UK-based Jubilee Metals has delivered its first batch of copper concentrate from its Roan project in Kabwe, Zambia, with an estimated annual production capacity of 10,000mt of copper.
Jubilee’s Roan project is one of three that uses the company’s Sable refinery. The miner is on track to produce 25,000mt of copper per year for the next four years, according to its media statement on Friday.
Zambia’s Ministry of Mines had approved the renewal of Jubilee’s 10-year license in September last year.
