Polish copper producer KGHM Group saw an 8.6pc increase in payable copper production to 381,000mt in H1 2020, compared to the same period last year.
According to the company’s interim earnings report, the increase in production was attributed to a 30pc increase in ore production at the company’s Sierra Gorda mine in Atacama, Chile, which contributed 51,000mt of the total output. Meanwhile, domestic production in Poland grew 4.4pc in the same timeframe to 293,000mt.
