Kintavar Exploration has reached closer to confirming indicated copper and zinc mineral reserves at its Wabash project in Haute-Mauricie, Quebec.
The company acquired the land in 2018 and has finally begun blasting. The company noted in a media statement on Tuesday that it can now confirm mineralization of up to 2.28pc copper and 1.18pc zinc across the 2.5km long deposit corridor. Kintavar says that the deposits resemble those at the Hermosa project in Arizona operated by South32.
The company indicated that it could not confirm the total amount of mineral reserves the Wabash project for now, but said that it will focus its attention on zinc and lead exploration since the copper, silver, and gold mineralization has been confirmed.
