Lanzhou New Area Co. Limited’s Aluminum Foil Project will become operational from July 2021. The project is located at the Northwest Green New Aluminum Processing Industrial Park in Lanzhou New District of China.
The project comprises of two aluminum foil workshops and is expected to produce 200,000mt of aluminum foil annually, including 65,000mt of air-conditioning foil, 70,000mt of household foil, 15,000mt of medicinal foil, 10,000mt of battery foil, 20,000mt of double zero aluminum foil for packaging, and 20,000mt of wide single zero foil for several other purposes, the company said.
The revenue from sales is expected to be around CNY4bn ($584mn). The company spokesperson informed that the construction of the facility is underway with strict health protocols in place owing to the COVID-19 outbreak.
