Chicago-based auto parts supplier, LKQ Corporation reported a 3.2pc decline in its third-quarter revenue while its parts and service income fell by 9pc on an annual basis.
The company, which manufactures and refurbishes auto components, reported an 11.3pc drop in income from North America during Q3 2020, over the prior year. Its European division also saw an 8pc fall in income. LKQ’s specialty parts division, however, was off by only 0.5pc in Q3 compared to the same quarter in 2019.
The corporation recorded total revenue of $3bn in Q3 2020, down from $3.14bn in the prior-year period. LKQ’s net income during the period rose by 27.4pc to $193mn, compared with $151mn in the third quarter last year.
