Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has amended the antidumping (AD) duties on cold-rolled coils of alloy and non-alloy steel (CRC) originating from Vietnam, stated a latest release on January 25.
The move comes in the wake of the petition filed by Mycron CRC Steel on behalf of the domestic industry which claimed a substantial change in the dumping margin for the imports of merchandise from Vietnam since the imposition of duties in 2019.
The government has, therefore, amended the duties after a complete review which will range from 7.42-33.70pc.
