Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry has levied an anti-dumping duty on imports of cold-rolled stainless coils and sheets among others, originating from Indonesia and Vietnam.
The determination stands in the range of 8.8-34.82pc for the said products originating in Indonesia and between 7.81-23.84pc for those from Vietnam effective April 24 for five years.
The investigation had commenced on June 28, 2020, at the behest of Bahru Stainless which alleged imports at a price less than the market value.
