Marcobre shipped the first 22,000mt of copper concentrate on Saturday from its Mina Justa project, through the exporting company Tisur, the Peruvian mining company reported. The ship containing the cargo departed from the port of Matarini, Arequipa.
Mina Justa has an installed capacity of 56,678mt/day but expects to contribute 181,000mt of copper to the overall production of the red metal in Peru this year, before reaching its maximum production capacity in Q1 2022.
