Canadian energy and precious metal exploration company Max Resource Corp has discovered new copper mineralization at its copper-silver project CESAR in northeast Colombia. The ‘CONEJO’ zone, as it is called, is 1.6km by 0.6km at the copper-silver project CESAR. Mapping of the CONEJO zone is underway, and Max Resource will launch a ground-induced polarisation survey. The CESAR project is 2500sqkm and extends over 220km of highly prospective copper-silver mineralization. The company has a mineralization target of 300sqkm with a surface mineralization of 1pc for copper.
Max Resource has started a multi-faceted exploration program for 2021 for the CESAR project. According to the company CEO Brett Matich, CESAR provides the company significant exposure to copper, a key metal for the world’s transition to clean green energy.
