Metso Outotec to supply large capacity Grate-Kiln pellet plant worth €30-40mn ($36mn – $47mn) to a customer in Odisha, India.
The annual production capacity of this plant will be close to 6mn t (5.4mn mt) and is expected to be the largest Grate-Kiln plant in the country. Scope of delivery for the plant will include basic engineering and process technology with equipment such as travelling grate, kiln, cooler and other spare parts.
This plant can produce high-quality uniform pellets with low cost and lesser carbon footprint, it said in a statement.
Recently, the company also announced a few managerial changes in the firm with Markku Terasvasara taking over as the president of the Minerals business area while continuing as the deputy chief executive officer of the company. He will replace Stephan Kirsch, who is leaving the company for personal reasons.
Additionally, Sami Takaluoma has been appointed as the president of services business area and Heikki Metsala as the president of consumables business area, the company stated.
