Metso has signed a servicing partner agreement with FEMCO Holdings for its metal recycling equipment in North America.

 

The Pittsburgh-based firm also said it’s increasing the availability of its services to clients in the metal recycling industry. 

 

Metso, a global equipment manufacturer, has much experience in the industry installing metal recycling equipment and counts sizable, international scrap yards among its clientele. The company plays a major role in the steel and automotive industries, as well as with local scrap yards.   

 

FEMCO will add provisions for Metso’s shredders, pre-shredders, shears, balers, briquetters and loggers.

 

FEMCO has been a nationwide field service, machine repair and rebuilding company in the scrap, demolition and recycling industries for over 50 years. The company has presences in Pennsylvania, Indianapolis, Colorado, California, Atlanta, and Texas. 

 

Metso had sales of about €3.6bn ($3.9bn) in 2019 and employs more than 15,000 workers in more than 50 countries. The global industrial company offers equipment and services in the mining, aggregates, recycling and processing industries.
