Stainless Adapters Inc. (SAI) has been purchased by Midland Industries ahead of the latter’s Houston distribution center scheduled to open this spring.
SAI, which supplies hydraulic adapters and pipe fittings made from 316/316L stainless steel for general industrial use and to various industries, including automotive and oil and gas, will see its chief executive officer Michael Baker become general manager of Midland’s new distribution center.
Midland, a subsidiary of Wynnchurch Capital, manufactures and distributes everything from fittings and couplings to products for industries general industrial, plumbing, oil and gas, power transmission, and more. The financial details of the transaction have not been shared by the companies.
