Nevada Copper has restarted deliveries of copper concentrate to its offtake partner following resumption of production activity at its Pumpkin Hollow Underground Mine in August, said a company statement.

The first shipment consisted of 1,322mt of copper concentrate which is in accordance with the off take requirements. The concentrate grade too is consistent with the plan. The company expects to gradually increase the volumes of deliveries.

Transition of its Main Shaft to a permanent production configuration is also likely to be completed as scheduled in November. The move could allow the company to ramp-up mining operations.

The ramp-up of production is likely to be gradual and could reach the daily target of 5,000mt by the end of Q1 2021, rather than 2020 year end. 1.
