Lead and zinc deposit of value over CNY70bn ($9.88bn) was discovered in southwestern China’s Guizhou Province, according to the Chinese media.
Other 92 ores have also been traced in the Shuitang Township, Hezhang County with an average lead ore grade of 2.27pc and 6.76pc for zinc equivalent to six large lead and zinc mines due to the thickness of the ore body. This reserve of lead and zinc are likely to have an extractable resources of around 3.27mn mt along with other vital mineral resources.
