Canada-based Nickel28’s production of mixed hydroxide (MHP) with 33,659mt of nickel content at its Ramu Nickel-Cobalt project in Papua New Guinea has put the company as the top MHP producer globally.
The company’s full-year sales of MHP containing high nickel content for the period ended December 31, grew to 75,071mt at the Ramu project where Nickel28 holds an 8.56pc share, it said in a statement. Nickel28’s revenue crossed $410mn with a strong cash balance of $6.4mn, during the same year in review.
Apart from the joint venture at the Ramu project, the battery metal focused investor manages a portfolio of 13 other exploration and development projects in Canada, Australia, and Papua New Guinea.
