Chinese electric car manufacturer, Nio, delivered 36,721 units of EVs in January-November 2020, twice as many compared with 17,395 vehicles sold in the same period of 2019.
The company’s sales doubled in November as well, tallying at 5,291 units compared with 2,528 EVs sold in November 2019.
As the company’s orders continue to grow, it plans to expand its production capabilities, a recent media statement by the automaker noted. However, no actual figures were quoted regarding the expansion.
Nio is China’s first EV brand, established in 2016. The brand currently has three models on sale. Its Q3 sales accounted for $628.4mn.
