Russian steelmaker NLMK Group has appointed Cornelius Lawrence as chief executive officer of the NLMK Europe Flat Products division. He will replace Renaud Moretti, who is moving to Liberty Steel in April.
Lawrence currently serves as the chief technical officer for the NLMK Group. He has about 20 years of industry experience, having held senior positions at Tata Steel, ArcelorMittal, and Saldanha Steel.
As part of his new role, Lawrence will overlook the operations of the NLMK La Louviere plant and NLMK Manage service center in Belgium along with NLMK Strasbourg in France.
