Tatyana Averchenkova has been appointed as the Managing Director of Russian steelmaking company NLMK Lipetsk. Averchenkova was earlier the vice president for operational efficiency with the NLMK group.
He will be succeeding Vyacheslav Vorotnikov, who held the MD position from 2019. Vorotnikov will be serving the company as the advisor to the CEO.
Before becoming the vice president in 2016, Averchenkova held the position of controlling director and other senior positions in the company’s strategy department. According to the group CEO, her leadership aided in the development of NLMK’s production system.
NLMK has its facilities in Russia, Europe, and the United States. Its annual steel production capacity is over 17mn mt.
