On the heels of last year’s success at Polar Division, Nornickel implemented a system to raise production at Kola Mining & Metallurgical.
The system involves augmented mining, processing, transportation management, and metallurgical production, but also providing system specialists with pivotal information, like volumetric and qualitative indicators of the whole chain from mining ore to dispatching finished products.
The system is part of a company program called Technological Breakthrough, which looks for efficiencies within the company’s chain.
Nornickel is among the world’s largest nickel and palladium producers.
