Northwest Pipe will support the Yadkin Regional Water Supply Project in North Carolina by supplying 28-miles of steel water pipelines.
The project will allow water to be drawn from Lake Tillery to a new water treatment plant and from there to the main distribution system for consumers.
To satisfy the project’s requirements, Northwest Pipe will manufacture 9,285nt of engineered 42-54 inch diameter pipes with cement mortar lining and polyurethane coating. The project is managed by Garney Construction.
This development follows the recent announcement of the company supplying 3,215nt for a similar project in Oregon.
Northwest Pipe is the largest US manufacturer of water pipe systems with several locations throughout the country.
