Nucor plans to build another TrueCore manufacturing facility in Utah to produce wall and roof metal panels which is expected to start from 2022.
TrueCore was acquired by Nucor in 2019 and is considered a part of Nucor Building Group. The 120,000 sqft facility in Utah will be TrueCore’s third plant and will employ close to 50 employees at the location to serve the US and Canada market.
The Utah plant will enhance the company’s capability to serve metal structures customers and grow its value added product line, it said in a statement. Nucor has nine metal building plants across the US with close to 360,000mt in annual production capacity.
