Toronto-based mining company Pasinex Resources mined 2,850wmt of zinc in Q2 of 2020 (April-June), down by 34pc from the prior-year quarter. The company sold 3,713wmt of zinc products, up by 55pc from the prior-year quarter, said a company release.
In Jan-June 2020, the company’s mined zinc output stood at 6,647wmt, down by 40pc from 11,080wmt in the prior-year period. The company sold 5,645wmt of zinc, down by 44pc from 10,056wmt over the prior year.
The company reported a consolidated net loss of $295,958 in April-June 2020, compared to $108,609 in the preceding year period. In Jan-June, the company’s net loss was $692,406 from $323,459 in the prior year period.
The company has received an exploration license for the Mahyalar claim, an area located to the east of the Pinargozu mine in the Mahyalar district of Kozan. The license is valid for seven years.
