Australia-based Red River Resources produced 2,697mt of copper concentrates in Q4 2020 ending June, up by 49.33pc from 1,806mt in the prior-year period. Output also increased from 2,310mt in the preceding quarter.
Red River attributed the rise in output to improved copper recovery at 84.7pc, up from 71.1pc in the prior-year period. The company states its mine production and mill throughput were stable.
Red resources’ zinc and lead concentrate production, however, dropped to 4,544mt and 1,133mt, respectively in Q4,2020 from 9,057mt and 3,369mt in the prior-year period.
