Miner Red River Resources (RVR) released an update indicating declines during its fiscal Q3 2021 production for the Jan-Mar 2021 period at its Thalanga base metal operations in Northern Queensland, Australia.
RVR’s Thalanga operations produced 13.92pc less copper concentrate at 3,068mt in Q3 compared to 3,564mt of copper output in Q2. The miner’s zinc concentrate production fell 6.34pc to 6,959mt in Q3 versus 7,430mt of zinc concentrate output in Q2.
The operation produced 1,613mt of lead concentrate during Q3 declining by 17.73pc against Q2 lead concentrate volumes at 1,914mt.
RVR paused mining activities at its Far West mine between Mar 27- Apr 1 to investigate a safety event that found no damage to equipment. After the probe concluded, mine production restarted on Apr 1 and operations are currently back to normal levels.
The processing operation used ore stockpiles held on another location to continue production during that time. The company’s full quarterly report for March will be released later this month.
