Davis Index: Market Intelligence for the Global Metals and Recycled Materials Markets

Renault India launched a vehicle scrapping programme called Relive in partnership with scrap vehicle recycling company CERO, a joint venture between Mahindra Intertrade and MSTC.

This initiative will not only enable a hassle-free scrappage experience to its customers but will also reduce carbon footprint in the country significantly. Renault will also be offering channels to scrap old two wheelers, it stated. Recently Mahindra Intertrade signed an MOU with MSTC recycling to offer an end-to-end solution to the customers to scrap their end-of-life vehicles.

Currently Mahindra Intertrade has set up dismantling centres across cities like Noida, Pune, Chennai and has collection centers across Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Chandigarh. It plans to have more centers across 25 more cities in the next 8-10 months. This inclusion of Renault will further strengthen the project, Mahindra Intertrade’s managing director Sumit Issar, said in a statement.
