Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) or Vizag Steel has initiated e-tender for ocean export of steel blooms and billets. The tender closes on Jan 28 for shipments until Feb 25, 2020.
RINL offered Blooms of grade IS 2830 C20MMn Gr A, size 200x200MM and length 12mtrs, for which minimum bid quantity is 10,000mt. Billets, grade IS 2830 C20MMn Gr A, size 90x90MM, minium bid quantity 5,000mt. Bidder have to quote the prices product-wise and grade-wise in $/mt through Vizag Steel’s online portal. Shipments for the tender will be loaded from the Gangavaram Port instead of Visakhapatnam Port due to technical reasons.
Bidders have to deposit $20,000 or Rs1,420,000 as earnest money deposit in the form of bank guarantee valid for nine months from the close of auction. The bidders are requested to keep their offers valid until Jan 28 or as extended with mutual agreement. Any country except Nepal and banned countries can participate in the bidding.
Earlier on Jan 3, RINL invited tender for blooms of grade 4 SP of length 12mtrs.
