Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) has invited e-tenders for ocean export of its steel products in a notice published on Jan 3. The company offered bloom, grade 4 SP of size 150mm x 150mm and length 12mtrs for sale with a minimum quantity quoted at 30,000mt.
As earnest money deposit, the bidders have to deposit $20,000 or Rs1,420,000 in the form of bank guarantee, for a minimum validity period of nine months for this auction closing on Jan 10.
Barring Nepal and a few other banned countries, others can participate in the bidding. Loading for these products will at Gangavaram Port, according to the company’s notice.
