Romania’s new car registrations in October increased by 17.6pc to 12,523 units from the prior year, according to the Association of Romanian Automakers (ACAROM).
In the Jan-Oct period, however, the new car registration stood at 97,124 units, down by 27.9pc from the same period year prior. Car manufacturer DACIA sold 30,175 units in the Jan-Oct period, while Renault sold 7,600 units during the same period.
Skoda and Volkswagen’s car sales in the first ten months of the year stood at 7,528 units and 7,417 units, respectively. Hyundai sold 5,738 units in the same period in Romania.
