Russia’s passenger car imports increased by 76.1pc in January this year to 17,900 cars worth $430mn from the previous month, according to the Federal Customs Service. Of the total imports, 1,900 trucks were shipped into the country which were worth $107.2mn.
The country’s exports of passenger cars on the other hand decreased by 9pc to 4,700 vehicles worth $63mn in January 2021 on a monthly basis. Six hundred trucks were part of the total exports in January, worth $18.8mn, Autostat reported.
