Iran-based Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development Company’s iron ore pellet production in the first nine months (Mar 20-Dec 22, 2020) of the Iranian calendar stood at 366,876mt, up by 19pc from the prior-year period, according to local media reports citing a statement by the company.
In the Mar-Dec period, the company’s iron ore concentrate output grew by 26pc to 1mn mt as compared to the same period in the preceding year.
Sales
The company sold 828,680mt of iron ore products worth $40mn in the nine-month period.
Of the total sales, iron ore pellet sales in the Mar-Dec grew by 15pc to 340,294mt from the prior-year period, while sales of iron ore concentrate during the period stood at 446,567mt, up by 1pc as compared to the same period a year before.
