Salzburger Aluminium Group (SAG) is investing €1.5mn ($1.82mn) in the expansion of SAG Slovakia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group. The new plant is located in the SIHOT industrial park near Trencin, close to the Czech-Austrian border. The facility specialises in the manufacturer of considerably larger capacities special constructions made of metal and aluminium.
With ample space, the new unit will cater to the rising demand for special components used in special vehicles and railways. The new site also has better connectivity to the central transportation hub.
SAG Slovakia specialises in the manufacture of complex customized special aluminium constructions. Its range of products includes windows for trains to tanks with over 3,000 litres capacity.
