The mining company said that the Feasibility Study for the T3 Copper-Silver Project in Botswana will continue. Sandfire suspended its exploration activity in Botswana from late March to May end in compliance with the lockdown norms. Recommencement of development activities at T3 was delayed until May 2020 due to the disruption of global supply chains, tendering, and construction activities. Drilling activities may begin in early June with the phased easing of restrictions.
The drilling programs continued at the Greater Doolgunna Project in West Australia. After obtaining approvals last month, Sandfire will begin its feasibility study at the Butte Project in Montana, USA.
