Sandvik’s Tomas Eliasson, executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO) will be stepping down from this position effective Oct 31.
Cecilia Felton, vice president, will serve as the interim CFO effective Nov 1 until the Swedish mining and engineering conglomerate can find a suitable replacement.
Eliasson played an integral role in decentralizing Sandvik’s operations and will stay on until February 2022 to onboard and transition the new CFO, noted the company in an Aug 30 statement.
