St George Mining Limited (SGML) has discovered high-grade nickel and copper sulphide at its Mt Alexander mine.
The Australian miner found nickel grading at 6.54pc and copper grading at 2.96pc while drilling at 1.28 meters at the mine. At 3.9 meters, it discovered nickel grading at 3.98pc and copper at 1.8pc, while nickel grading 1.58pc and copper at 0.71pc was found after drilling at 11.07 meters, the company indicated.
The search for nickel-copper sulphide in what is known as the Cathedral belt in Australia is still considered at an early stage. SGML stated that there is potential to identify more mineral deposit in the area.
