Canadian nickel miner, Sherritt International’s current president and chief executive officer (CEO) and its vice president and chief financial officer have resigned from their current roles.
The company announced that David Pathe, president and CEO will step down from his position in 2021 after an eight-year tenure as the CEO of the company. Pathe has served Sherritt under various executive roles since 2007 and he has agreed to stay with the firm until an appropriate replacement is found to ensure a smooth transition.
Andrew Snowden, currently the vice president and chief financial officer at Sherritt has also resigned from his role to pursue an opportunity outside the organization. Sherritt’s current vice president – finance, Nathan Reeve will step up as the company’s CFO starting January, 1, 2021. Reeve has been associated with Sherritt since 2018 and has more than 25 years’ industry experience, the company said in a statement.
