Sherritt International’s 2021 outlook remains unchanged since it was last updated in January this year with its finished nickel production to remain between the 32,000-34,000 range. 

 

Its finished nickel production in the first quarter of the year grew by 9pc to 4,188mt compared to 3,836mt in the same quarter last year. 

 

The Canadian miner’s finished nickel sales increased by 11pc to 4,177mt in Q1 2021 compared to 3,773mt in the same quarter last year. 

 

The company’s total combined revenue including other businesses like oil, gas, and power grew by 26pc to C$141.7mn ($115mn) in the first three months of the year compared to C$112.3mn in the same months last year. Sherritt’s Q1 2021 adjusted EBITDA increased by 602pc to C$30.2mn compared to C$4.2mn in the same quarter last year.
