Chongqing Shunbo Alloy will be investing CNY5.6bn for carrying out the development in a phased manner at its industrial base in Maanshan City, Anhui Province. The expansion includes the production of green recycled aluminium, slabs, round ingots, and aluminium ash resources.
The project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase aims at achieving 400,000mt of green recycled aluminium production, 300,000mt of flat ingots output and production of 200,000mt of round ingots, and 100,000mt of aluminium ash with an annual output value of CNY14.2bn ($2.22bn). The first phase will be completed in 2023. In its second phase, the company aims to achieve an annual output of 150,000mt of aluminium plates, aluminium foils, and 60,000mt of aluminium profiles, achieving an annual output of CNY4.3bn. The second phase will be completed by the end of 2025.
In the first quarter of 2021, Shunbo Alloy reported revenue of CNY1.663bn, up by 116.13pc from the prior year and net profit attributable to the parent was CNY78.51mn up by 135.77pc. In 2020, the company reported revenues of CNY4.869bn, an increase of 11.84pc from the prior year. Net profit attributable to the parent company was CNY196mn, an increase of 16.44pc from a year ago.
The Ma’anshan Shunbo Alloy industrial base project will come up at Bowang New City Industrial Park, Ma’anshan.
