Canada based Sierra Metals’ produced 39.9mn lbs (18,000mt) of copper, 81.1mn lbs of zinc and 35.5mn lbs of lead in 2019.
Annual Production
In 2019, Sierra produced 39.9mn lbs of copper up by 17pc from 24mn lbs 81.1mn lbs of zinc up by 6pc from 76.8mn lbs and the lead production was 35.5mn lbs up by 28pc from 2018.
Quarterly Production
Sierra metals produced 11.4mn lbs of copper in the December quarter, up by 27pc from the prior-year period. Lead production in Oct-Dec was 9.9mn lbs, up by 25pc from the prior-year period. Zinc production grew by 46pc in the December ended quarter to 25.5mn lbs from the prior year.

The company achieved record consolidated quarterly ore throughput in December quarter as ore throughput from the Yauricocha and Bolivar Mines as their production grew.

The company’s production guidance for copper is at 51.60-57.33mn lbs, zinc at 86.63-96.25mn lbs and lead guidance is 28.17-31.30mn lbs.
