SilverCorp’s lead production in 2021 rose to 31,039.3mt from 30,559.9mt in the previous year, while its zinc output climbed to 12,706mt from 11,603.3mt in the same timeframe.
The company reported in its earnings statement on May 20 that its lead sales increased by 3pc to 30,436mt and zinc sales were up 10 pc to 12,655.2mt in 2021 when compared to the prior year.
In Q4 2021 (ended March 31, 2021), Silvercorp’s lead production moved to 5.513.9mt from 3,525.3mt in the same prior-year quarter while zinc output increased by 42.7pc to 2,119.2mt from 1,485.9mt in the same period.
Lead sales in Q4 2021 moved up by 13pc to 4,944.2mt from 4,399.8mt in the previous year. Zinc sales grew by 50pc in the same quarter under comparison to 2,086.5mt from 1,406.1mt.
Silvercorp’s GC Mine produced 4,872.7mt lead, 3.7pc less than the previous year’s total of 4,960.9mt while Ying Mining District produced 2.5pc more, moving to 26,256.6mt from 25,598.9mt.
