Steel Strips Wheels Limited’s (SSWL) wheel rim sales rose by 24.4pc to 1.4mn in September 2020, compared to 1.1mn in September 2019, said a company release. The company witnessed a growth of 29.8pc from the prior month.

The company’s gross turnover in September increased by 44.1pc to 2.01bn from 1.3bn, the best ever monthly performance. The company’s alloy wheel segment registered its highest monthly volume sale ever in September with a 719pc growth, compared to the prior year period.
In terms of exports, the company reported a growth by 97.91pc in September. The company expects further increase in export orders in October and are likely to exceed 30pc of volume growth for the current fiscal year.
