India’s Sunflag Iron and Steel reported a profit of Rs725.1mn in Q4 (January-March) which is up 65.13pc from the prior year on a standalone basis. While on a consolidated basis, the Nagpur-based company reported a profit of Rs801.3mn, up 82.03pc from a year ago.

 

The company’s sales revenue jumped by 33.04pc to Rs5,554.4mn in Q4 compared to Rs4,175mn in the prior year.

 

For the full year, Sunflag’s net profit was at Rs1,335.2mn in FY2021, up by 44.25pc from Rs 925.6mn in FY2020 on a standalone basis, while on a consolidated basis, net profit was at Rs1,406.2mn, up by 52.76pc from Rs920.5mn in the prior year. Sunflag’s sales revenue escalated to Rs18,915.5mn in FY2021 versus Rs17,581.2mn a year ago.
