Synalloy’s net sales increased by 8.5pc to $152.9mn in H1 2021 from $140.8mn in the prior-year period. The metals segment comprised 80.7pc of total sales at $123.3mn, up 9.4pc in H1 2021 against H1 2020.
Operating income from the metals segment increased to $10.1mn in H1 2021 compared to a loss of $8.2mn in H1 2020. Adjusted EBITDA almost tripled to $14.6mn in H1 2021 compared to $4.6mn in the prior H1.
In Q2 2021, sales rose to $83.1mn, up by 25.6pc from the prior-year quarter boosted by the metals segment’s growth of 30.9pc to $68.1mn.
