Talon Metals completed its winter exploration program at the Tamarack nickel-cobalt project in Minnesota.
Out of the eight drill holes, six holes intersected massive sulphides close to 38 meters. At the first assay at 11.36 meters, 7.1pc nickel and 2.98pc copper were discovered. Assays on the remaining seven drill holes and pending.
Talon could complete the entire exploration program in approximately $350,000 under budget. This put the company in solid cash position with $2.5mn.
